MOVING CLOUD has for the second time been invited to play concert at The World Bodhrán Championships i Milltown, Co. Kerry, Ireland (30.05 - 02.06 2008). Moving Cloud wil appear on stage with among others Chieftains and Beoga. During the World Bodhrán Championships Svend Kjeldsen, the bodhrán-player from Moving Cloud, will run his much sought after workshop in Motor Rhythms, Ornaments, Tonal Control, Accents, Sticking, Accompaniment & Composition. Furthermore Svend Kjeldsen will act as adjudicator at the competitions at World Bodhrán Championships 2008.

ballads based on field-recordings of the Irish gypsies (the Pavees).

Moving Cloud is in Hot Frigidaire Studio at the moment, recording the ground tracks for a new album.
In January the band travels to Okinawa in Japan to finish the album in cooperation with master-producer Dónal Lunny.
It's the third time Moving Cloud cooperates with the Irish icon.

The new album will be released on the Danish label GO' Danish Folk Music on the 24th. of February 2008.

"Sweet Nyaa" will be launched on 22.02.05. The album includes traditional songs in fascinating arrangements plus new songs written into the tradition of the Irish songwriters John Neville and Don Stiffe. The instrumentals are mainly inspired of the Co. Sligo tradition in Northwest Ireland. "Folk meets jazz..." ULC's third album entitled "Masquerade" combines Danish music from 1700 with most outstanding Danish jazz. In a musical conversation characterized by mutual respect, the Traditional Danish tunes are explored in a up to now unheard way.
